Why we sell direct

Two reasons, and neither is romantic. The first is that a small range tested this hard needs somebody to explain it, and a shelf in a general shop cannot do that. The second is margin: selling direct is what lets us take back a used dog bed after 60 days and send it to a rescue rather than argue with you about it.

That will change as the range grows. When it does, this page will list the shops by name and town, with the products each one carries, so you do not drive somewhere to find they only stock the candles.

Be careful where else you buy

We do not sell through any marketplace, and we have no resellers. If you find the range for sale somewhere else, it is either a copy or stock that reached a third party some other way, and we cannot support the guarantee or the returns window on it. Tell us if you spot it and we will follow it up.

If you run a shop

We would like to be in a small number of shops that already sell to people who care about both halves of this. Independent homeware shops, garden centres with a decent pet section, veterinary practices with a front of house counter, and the good end of the pet trade.

What we can supply now

• The Home + Pet range in full, which is the part that tends to sell in a shop without explanation.
• Candles, fragrance and stoneware in commercial quantities, with a four week lead time on a first order.
• Beds, harnesses and the larger pet furniture in limited numbers. These are made in short runs and we will not promise volume we cannot hold.

Rough trade terms

These are a starting point rather than a contract, and they are the numbers most enquiries ask about first.

• Opening order of £250 excluding VAT, £150 to reorder.
• Trade price is half the recommended retail price on the site.
• Payment before dispatch on a first order, then 30 days once we know each other.
• No exclusivity by area at this size, and no sale or return.
• Product photography, copy and the testing notes come with the order, free to use.

Use the contact form and pick Wholesale and stockists as the subject. Tell us where the shop is, what else you sell, and which part of the range you are after.

Bear in mind that the form is not connected to a mailbox yet, so trade enquiries cannot actually reach us today. That notice comes down the moment it works, and from then on we answer every trade enquiry, including the ones we say no to.
